Showerthought: I hit 100 voicemails saved and realized I've been dodging calls since 2019
So last Tuesday I was cleaning out my phone storage because it kept saying it was full and I finally scrolled down to my voicemail box. 100 saved messages. A hundred. I sat there in my truck in the Kroger parking lot off 5th street just staring at that number. Most of them are from my sister asking if I got her text, or my insurance lady, or some guy named Dale who keeps leaving messages about an estimate from 2 years ago. The worst part is I remember avoiding each one of these calls on purpose, letting it ring, watching the little red bubble pop up, and then just never dealing with it. There's one from my old neighbor Marcy from 3 months ago that I still haven't listened to and at this point I'm scared it's something bad. My wife says this is a sickness and my brother just laughed and showed me his box has 214, so maybe I'm not as bad as I think. What's your number, like honestly, how many are sitting in there right now?
