Spilled my drink on a stranger at a wedding in Boise last weekend

I was trying to grab a slice of cake and my elbow caught a full glass of red wine that went straight down some guy's white shirt. Has anyone else had a moment where you just wanted to disappear into the floor right after?

Honestly, I've thought about this a lot because something similar happened at my cousin's wedding. What people don't talk about is how that guy probably had a backup plan for the exact reason. I knew a groom who brought a spare shirt in his car for the reception because he saw it happen at another wedding. So that guy might've just laughed it off and changed later. You probably made his story way more interesting than the actual wedding cake tasting. Did he end up being cool about it or was he mad the whole night?
