That one Wednesday where everything that could go wrong actually did

It was a couple months ago, a rainy Wednesday in March. I got to work and spilled hot coffee all over my white blouse right before a big meeting. Then I realized I had left my laptop charger at home and my battery was at 15 percent. At lunchtime I tried to eat a salad at my desk and ended up dropping a forkful of dressing right on my keyboard. My boss walked by and saw the whole mess. Later that day I stepped in a giant puddle walking to my car and my shoes were soaked for the drive home. It was one of those days where you just have to laugh because crying won't help. Has anyone else had a day where everything just snowballed like that?

Hate days like that, they just keep piling on. Sounds like a real rough one. Been there with the coffee stain before a big thing, it's like the universe picks the worst timing. Glad you could laugh about it though, that's the only way to get through it sometimes.

Honestly, had a day exactly like that last month. Spilled yogurt on my shirt before I even left the house and then my car battery died in the parking lot. By the time I got home I just sat in the dark eating cereal for dinner.

Ugh the cereal dinner in the dark hits hard. What actually snapped me out of it was just doing one single thing differently the next morning. I made myself walk to the corner coffee shop instead of driving, grabbed a breakfast sandwich, and sat there for ten minutes before work. It wasn't life changing or anything but breaking that streak of bad luck made me feel like I at least had a little bit of control back. Sometimes you just gotta reset the whole vibe with one small win.
