The time I tried to fix a sticky drawer and it took 6 weeks
Everyone says just sand the edges a bit and it's done. Nope, I ended up having to plane the whole side down, re-stain it, and then the drawer front didn't match anymore. Anyone else ever have a simple DIY turn into a months-long project?

Planing a whole side is serious overkill for a sticky drawer.

Maybe a tiny sledgehammer would work better, just gently persuade the whole house to realign itself while you're at it. Idk, I figure if you're gonna go big, go all the way with a hand plane on one drawer. Overkill is underrated, right?
