Waved at a guy in the grocery store thinking it was my brother, then had to walk past him 3 more times

This happened to me about two weeks ago at the Kroger on 5th. I caught a glimpse of a guy in a camo jacket by the dairy case and I was so sure it was my brother that I called out his name and gave a big wave. The guy turned around with this blank look and I just froze, then pretended I was reaching for yogurt way up on the top shelf. The kicker is his cart kept showing up in the same aisles as mine, so I had to do that thing where you stare at your phone to avoid eye contact. Has anyone else just given up and left the store early because of something like this?
