Can we talk about how I fixed that leaky faucet with a youtube video from 2012
Last week my kitchen faucet started dripping, and after watching a 12 minute tutorial from some guy in Ohio, I replaced the washer for $3. Has anyone else gotten that weird satisfaction from fixing something old school?

Yeah that's the best feeling right? I fixed my toilet flapper last month with a video from like 2011 and the guy was using a flip phone camera. But the thing is, those old videos actually show you the real guts of it, not some fancy zoomed-in shot that makes you think you need special tools. You spent $3 and fixed it yourself, no call to a plumber, no waiting around. There's something about knowing exactly how your own house works that just hits different.

@benclark exactly right, keep a bucket under it while you work or you'll regret it.
