DAE think the old guy at the hardware store on Route 9 who told me to buy the cheap caulk was messing with me?
I was fixing a leaky tub in my rental and he swore the $3 tube beats the $9 one every time, so I tried it on a whim. Three months later it's still holding and I'm out here feeling like a fool for doubting him. Anyone else got a random stranger's cheap advice that actually panned out?
