Found a trick for untangling extension cords that actually works
Last month I got sick of fighting with that mess of cords in my garage. I tried the over-under wrapping method after watching a 5 minute video and it took me about 3 tries to get it right. Now I can grab any cord and it just pulls out straight with no knots. Has anyone else found a simple fix for something that drove them crazy for years?

Got it down after a few tries myself... once you get the muscle memory it's like second nature. The trick for me was making sure I actually flipped the cord right before each loop, otherwise it just tangles worse. Now my girlfriend even borrows my cords without complaining about knots... that's a win. Works great for air hoses too, same principle.

I saw a youtube video where an old electrician showed a trick where you give the cord a quick twist before making the loop, and it REALLY helps keep everything flat. Once I started doing that every time, my extension cords stopped looking like a mess of spaghetti in the truck bed. It's funny how such a simple change makes all the difference.
