Rain on my delivery route changed my whole view on those rainx wipes
I've been doing deliveries for about 2 years now and always thought those rain repellent wipes were a scam. Then last Tuesday it started pouring on my route through downtown Portland and I couldn't see anything. I finally tried a Rainx single-use wipe on my windshield yesterday and I swear the difference was instant - like 90% better visibility even in heavy rain. Has anyone else had a moment where a product totally surprised you after you wrote it off for months?

Add to that, I think the real trick is how they handle that film that builds up on the inside of the windshield. I cleaned my windows with regular glass cleaner for years and still had fogging issues. One of these wipes cut through whatever that oily residue was in like 30 seconds. Plus they last way longer than I expected, I got a good two weeks out of a single wipe before I needed another. Just make sure you do it on a dry day and let it haze over before you buff it off.

Drove through a monsoon on I5 last week and mine was fogging up so bad I was just guessing where the lanes were. Threw one of those wipes on and it was like someone turned on a clarity filter. Felt so dumb for not trying them sooner.

Yeah I read somewhere its from trapped moisture and the wipe really does the trick.
