The guy at the car wash in Tucson handed me a free towel and my whole week turned around
I was at a little hand wash place on Speedway Blvd last Friday after spilling an entire iced tea on my driver's seat, and one of the workers just handed me a clean rag and said "no charge, man, we all have those days." It cost him nothing but it snapped me out of a 3 day bad mood almost instantly. Where is the strangest place someone random did something small that totally fixed your day?
A free towel that "snapped you out of a 3 day bad mood"? Come on, that sounds like a lot to put on a rag. I get that small kind things can lift your spirits for a bit, but if three days of gloom vanish over a towel, the towel was not really the problem. A good mood is usually about bigger stuff going on, not one nice guy at a car wash.
