The library on Grand Ave put a sign on the water fountain and half the room lost it
Stopped by the downtown library on Grand Ave last Saturday to return some books and noticed a little paper sign taped above the water fountain that said 'please do not fill large containers here.' One guy near the computers started going off about how he pays taxes and should be able to fill his jug, while a mom with two kids said she was glad because her little one always waits forever behind people with gallons. I honestly saw both sides, the fountain does clog up around lunch, but also some folks in this heat have no other spot to get cold water. So which is it, does the sign protect everyone or just make life harder for people who need it? Curious what you all think.
