Tried meal prepping on Sunday vs Wednesday and the difference was huge
I used to prep all my lunches on Sunday but they'd go bad by Thursday. Switched to Wednesday prep and now everything stays fresh through Saturday. Has anyone else noticed a big difference based on what day you do it?

Wednesday prep is the sweet spot for sure. Sunday stuff always gets that weird slimy texture on chicken by Thursday no matter how airtight the containers are. I do all my cooking Wednesday night and it holds up fine through Sunday morning. That extra 3-4 day window makes a real difference with greens especially, they don't go soggy as fast.

Have you ever had that happen to someone you actually warned about it? My friend Jessica was so confident about her Sunday meal prep routine, said I was being dramatic about the chicken texture thing. She made this huge batch of lemon herb chicken on Sunday with roasted broccoli and sweet potatoes, all neatly in glass containers. By Thursday she texted me a picture of this sad, weepy-looking chicken swimming in this weird cloudy liquid, and the broccoli was basically mush. She said it smelled okay but the texture made her gag. Now she's a Wednesday prep convert too lol.
