Hit 500 loaves sold from my home kitchen last weekend

I've been baking sourdough out of my apartment for about 14 months now and I just crossed 500 loaves sold to neighbors and friends. Never thought a hobby would turn into actual numbers like that, but word of mouth really took off after I started giving samples at the farmers market. Has anyone else hit a random milestone that made you stop and realize this is more than just a hobby lol?

500 loaves is no joke, that's solid proof people actually want what you're baking. The farmers market samples move is smart too, gets them hooked before they even hand over cash. I hit a similar moment a while back when someone from two towns over drove 40 minutes to pick up a batch of my hot sauce because their cousin had brought some to a party. That's when you realize your little hobby turned into something real without you even noticing. Now I actually keep an extra cooler in the trunk just for the random pickups.

You gave away samples too right? @the_derek that's exactly what flipped the switch for me - once people tasted it at the market they started messaging me for orders nonstop.
