My aunt's sourdough starter advice wrecked my first three batches
My Aunt Rita swore I had to feed my starter at exactly 7 AM every day or it would die, so I set alarms and stressed for two weeks before realizing city tap water was killing it. Switched to filtered water and stopped obsessing over the clock, now it doubles in size like a champ. Has anyone else gotten bad advice from a relative that set them back months?
