Showerthought: My attempt to organize my BBQ rubs ended with a colorful mess.
I built a new shelf in my garage to sort all my dry rubs and spices for competitions. While labeling jars, I knocked over a big container of paprika onto the floor. The red powder went everywhere, coating my shoes and making the place look like a crime scene. Now my garage smells like a spice rack and I'm finding paprika in weird spots for days.

That's just paprika commitment.

Wait, how much paprika are we talking about here? That's a wild level of dedication, @the_elliot. My mind is actually blown.

Notice this pattern with all kinds of everyday things. People get stuck on small details like the right way to fold towels or the best brand of ketchup. They pour all their focus into one tiny area to feel like they have it together. Paprika commitment is just another flavor of that. We grab onto these minor hills to die on when bigger stuff is messy. It's a common way to make life feel more controlled.
