My whole morning routine changed after a Tuesday at the Denver DMV
Sat there for two hours watching people get turned away for missing one piece of paper. Now I triple-check every single document the night before any appointment. Anyone else get this paranoid about paperwork?

Witness that kind of chaos once and it rewires your brain. I now have a bright red folder just for appointment documents that lives by my keys. Makes you wonder why they can't just email a simple checklist, right?

My old doctor's office lost my forms three times in one year. I started taking a picture of every single page with my phone before I hand it over at the desk. It creates a time-stamped backup in my photos, so I can prove I had it done. The red folder is a great idea for the physical copies, though. The photo thing saved me when they tried to charge me for a missed appointment I definitely showed up for.

I mean, I kind of see it the other way. The system is a hassle for sure, but I actually don't want another email to dig through either. @jake638's photo idea is smart though, I might steal that for my own paranoid system.
