The shift that went sideways for 14 hours straight

Last Thursday I had one of those days where nothing worked out. My shift at the warehouse started with a pallet jack breaking, then the scanner kept losing signal, and by 3 PM I was two hours behind on orders. A coworker said "just breathe, it's not surgery" and that cracked me enough to laugh. By the end I was exhausted but oddly proud, hasn't anyone else had a day that was terrible yet memorable in a weird way?

...and honestly the "it's not surgery" thing is the only correct response to a day like that. Though technically surgery would've been easier to plan around, at least the tools there are designed to work.
