Wait, how did a one minute rule backfire? Honestly, that sounds impossible unless you started a small fire. Tbh I can't even picture what went wrong in just sixty seconds.

Tried to microwave a spoon with my leftovers. Sparks everywhere. The rule works until it really doesn't.

Yeah, I feel that. My microwave has seen some things, man. Last week I tried to reheat pizza with a bit of foil on the box like a genius. Looked like a tiny lightning storm in there. @jones.nancy, you're not alone. I also once zapped a mug with a metallic glaze. Sounded like popcorn, but way more scary. My kitchen rules are just bad guesses at this point.
