Cream cheese in instant ramen? I was wrong to laugh

I tried it last Sunday with a $1.29 pack of spicy noodles and a spoonful of Philly, and the broth got this creamy heat that beat any of the fancy tonkotsu I've paid $14 for. Anyone else got a weird ramen addition that actually works or am I just desperate for cheap eats?
