I saw someone online raving about peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches so I tried it last night. I used crunchy peanut butter and Hellmann's on white bread and took one bite before instantly regretting it. The mayo made the peanut butter go SLIMY and weird, like eating something that had gone bad. Honestly I had to throw the whole thing away after two bites. Has anyone actually made this combo work with different ingredients?
Was at Mel's Diner off Route 9 back in 2016 and this grandma at the next booth ordered a hot fudge sundae then asked for ketchup packets. She squirted some on top and said her husband dared her to try it in 1957 and she never stopped. Has anyone else seen someone do ketchup on sweet stuff like that?
Last night I grabbed a handful of movie theater popcorn and a handful of jelly beans from the candy aisle and ate them together. The salty sweet thing really worked, especially the butter flavor with cherry jelly beans. My wife looked at me like I was crazy but I finished the whole bowl. I was out of jelly and saw a bottle of Sriracha sitting there. Dumb idea but I went for it anyway. The heat just made the peanut butter taste greasy and weird.
