Hot take: warm peanut butter on a cheeseburger is better than ketchup and nobody wants to hear it
I tried this at a cookout in Fresno last summer after a buddy dared me, and I have made it 6 times since. The problem is people smear cold peanut butter straight from the jar onto the bun and it turns into a sticky paste that coats your mouth. You have to thin it with a splash of soy sauce and warm it for about 20 seconds so it spreads like a sauce, then it tastes like a satay burger and the ketchup crowd shuts up real quick. If you tried this once and hated it, was your peanut butter cold or warm? I need to know if I am the only one doing the warm version.
