I mixed jelly beans with popcorn and it was way better than expected

Last night I grabbed a handful of movie theater popcorn and a handful of jelly beans from the candy aisle and ate them together. The salty sweet thing really worked, especially the butter flavor with cherry jelly beans. My wife looked at me like I was crazy but I finished the whole bowl. Has anyone else found a candy and popcorn combo that actually slaps?

Man that sounds amazing actually. My wife gave me the same look when I tried sour patch kids with buttery popcorn last month. I swear salty and sour together is a whole new world.

Nah you're onto something with that combo. Sour Patch kids and popcorn sounds wild but I bet the textures clash in a good way. I do salted caramel popcorn from scratch sometimes and it's got that same sweet and salty pull. You tried any other candy with salty snacks or just sticking with the sour patch?
