My grandma's weird mayo and grape jelly sandwich trick still haunts me lol
She used to make me grape jelly and mayo sandwiches when I was a kid in the 90s, thought it was totally normal. Last week I tried it again to see if it held up, and man, the texture is just as wild as I remember. Anyone else grow up with a relative that made bizarre combos like this?

People really get dramatic about a sandwich. Mayo and grape jelly is just sweet and creamy, it isn't that weird. Plenty of cultures mix fruit and savory stuff. Your grandma wasn't some kitchen criminal. Maybe you just don't like the combo anymore, that happens. Calm down about it, it's not a haunting memory.
