Vent: canned cheese sauce on pancakes sounded insane, now it's a Tuesday thing

Used to think anyone mixing sweet and savory breakfast stuff was crazy, my grandma would roll over... then my buddy threw some nacho cheese on a leftover pancake at a diner in Philly last winter. I laughed at him, but he dared me to try a bite, and I swear it hit different, like a grilled cheese that dreams of syrup. Now every couple weeks I make a batch of plain buttermilk pancakes and use a whole can of the cheap store brand cheese sauce, about 40 cents more than my old butter routine. The salt cuts the sweet just enough, and I dip the crispy edges in maple syrup after, it's a whole flavor loop thing. Anyone else got a combo they fought hard against before caving, or am I the only weirdo converting people at 7am?
