Had a Tuesday in Buffalo where 3 flues in a row were totally blocked and I found a dead starling in the last one

First house the bird guard had rusted off and the flue was packed solid, second place the cap was gone and rain got in, and at the third I pulled out a starling that had been stuck in there so long it was basically mummified, so has anyone else had a week where every single job turned into a hazmat situation?
