Had to pick between a rotary brush and a manual whip on a heavy creosote job yesterday
Went with the rotary brush because the third floor flue was packed tight, but now I'm wondering if the manual whip would've saved me the 20 minutes of fighting with the cord, anyone else make the wrong call in a pinch?

Rotary brush all the way, I used to swear by manual whips but this convinced me otherwise.

Read an article recently that said rotary brushes get more air into the batter because they spin so fast. Makes sense why my cakes come out lighter now. Manual whisking just can't match that speed, no matter how hard you try. Definitely a game changer for dense batters in my experience.
