Man, that's one of those things you just have to learn the hard way, isn't it? I used to think you had to really push the needle to get the right feel, but I've had a couple older guys show me that finesse beats force every single time. It's wild how a light touch actually gives you more control and a cleaner line. Now I catch myself wondering why we don't teach this stuff sooner to new people.

Honestly, why do you think so many people start out thinking you gotta muscle everything? Tbh I was the same way when I first got into it, thought you had to really crank on stuff to get results. But once you realize a light hand lets you feel the machine better, it changes everything. Ngl, it's one of those things where the old timers just know from years of trial and error. We should definitely be passing that lesson along right from the start instead of letting folks beat their tools up first.
