Saw a brick chimney in Savannah with a weird cap design
It was on a historic house near Forsyth Park, and the cap had these little side vents I've never seen before. The owner said it helps with downdrafts in the coastal wind. Anyone run into something like that before?

Oh yeah, I read that smell is from the ozone the machine makes. Kind of wild that's what clean air smells like to us.

Weird. My grandma's old place had a flue that would moan like a ghost when the wind blew from the east. Drove her nuts.
