Was at a customer's house in Boise last Tuesday and heard the homeowner tell her kid "the sweep just pokes around up there for an hour," and I had to stand there and smile

The sweep just pokes around up there for an hour" is maybe the most accurate job description I have ever heard. I had a lady tell her husband last month that I was "just gonna wiggle the brush around for a bit" and honestly? She was not wrong. Half my day is me standing on a roof looking busy while I actually just stare at the flashing and think about lunch. The other half is me poking my head into the attic and hoping nothing with a tail is home. So yeah, I stood there and smiled too, because the kid is gonna grow up thinking this is a real skill.
