Framing nailer jammed on a 30-unit townhouse in Tacoma

Was setting top plates on building 3, around 10 AM, and the nailer started spitting clipped heads every third shot. Tore it down on the lift, found a shredded o-ring from the last guy who borrowed it. I swapped in a rebuild kit right there, cost me 45 minutes and a full tank of air. Anyone else keep a spare rebuild kit on the truck for when these things act up?

Rebuild kits are cheap insurance, I keep two in the box plus a spare driver and o-rings for the exact reason you just lived. Saves me from eating an hour of daylight on someone else's mistake.
