Guy at the lumber yard told me to stop using my circular saw for everything. Changed how I frame.

What exactly were you framing with the circular saw that made him speak up?

Has anyone else found that the tool you use kind of shapes the way you think about the whole job? Its funny how we get stuck in a rut with one thing because its what we know. A different tool can really open your eyes to a cleaner way of doing it.

I remember the first time I tried a track saw after using a circular saw for years. I had like 15 cuts to make on a big plywood sheet and my buddy let me borrow his Festool setup. Something just clicked in my head about how you can set up your workflow differently when you're not fighting the tool every step of the way. It's wild how something as simple as a better dust collection or a different fence can make you rethink the whole order of operations.
