I finally caught my own bad habit on a bid in Nashville

I was putting together a quote for a guy in Nashville and caught myself rounding up my hours to sound safer, which I've been doing for who knows how long. He called it out when he asked why my labor line was $400 more than the other bid, and I didn't have a real answer. How do you all figure out your hours without padding or lowballing?
