Noticed a huge difference in my drywall finish after switching mud brands last month

I'd been using the same budget joint compound for years, but tried a mid-grade ProForm on a closet job and the sanding was half the work... anyone else notice a big jump between the cheap stuff and something a few bucks more?

ProForm is a game changer compared to the cheap stuff. That mid-grade mud sands way smoother and doesn't leave as many pinholes to fix. Once you get used to it, going back feels like a waste of time.

Smoother" mud just means more sanding dust to clean up later, @harper693.
