Told a homeowner in Tacoma I could patch her drywall in one trip, then found mold behind it. Do I eat the cost or bill her?

Honestly you told her one trip and that's on you, not her. She hired you for a patch job and mold behind the wall is your problem to find, not hers to pay for. Just eat it, fix the mold, and next time don't promise one trip til you've seen what's back there.

Wait, mold behind the drywall in Tacoma? That's like the wettest part of the whole state, of course there's mold back there. Did you even knock a test hole first before promising her one trip? That's a rookie move and now you're stuck fixing rot you didn't plan for.
