A dude threatened to sue me over a $6 haircut, so I picked between two ways to handle it
So I cut hair on the side out of my garage in Akron, and this guy comes in wanting a skin fade. I finish up, he looks in the mirror, and starts yelling that I "butchered" him over 6 bucks. I had two choices: eat the cost and just let him walk, or stand my ground and make him pay for the cut he already got. I picked option two and told him the price was the price. He said he was calling his lawyer, which was wild over six dollars, then stormed off without paying. Honestly I still wonder if I should've just handed him the money back to make him leave. Any of you ever deal with a customer who threatens legal stuff over tiny amounts?

Man that is wild over six bucks. I had a lady once freak out on me over a $12 nail repair and she said she was gonna take me to small claims court like it was some big lawsuit lol. Some people just want the fight more than they want the fix. You cutting hair out of your garage, you already know the type. Honestly making him pay was the right call, that fade was already on his head.
