Blurs the line between a good customer and a bad one" - I think people overthink this honestly. @terry677 you can be nice to someone's face and still think they're annoying sometimes. That's just being human, not fake. I'd rather have someone smile at me and whisper about me later than have them just be rude right there in the moment.

Makes you wonder who's actually being genuine. Some people are just polite to your face but talk trash the second they leave. It really blurs the line between a good customer and a bad one.
