I finally counted my customer complaint log from 8 months at the hardware store and hit 412, here is what shocked me

I work the returns desk at a hardware store in Dayton and started writing down every wild complaint in a little notebook last January. Last week I added them all up and got 412, but the crazy part is 63 of them were the same guy, a regular named Dale who brings back used drill bits every couple weeks. The best trick I found is to just let people finish their whole rant before I say a single word, because 9 times out of 10 they calm down and we both laugh about it. Anyone else keep a running tally like this, or am I the only weirdo with a notebook?
