I spent 2 years folding fitted sheets wrong until a hotel maid in Tucson set me straight

Worked the front desk at a hotel near Tucson for a while. One day a housekeeper named Rosa grabbed a sheet I folded and just shook her head. She showed me this tuck and corner method that took 10 seconds. I had been doing some complicated origami thing that always came out lumpy for 2 years. Anybody else get shown up by a pro at a basic job task?

Figured out folding fitted sheets years ago, it's really not that hard...

A buddy of mine tried to teach me his method once, but he got so frustrated he just balled it up and threw it in the closet. I think he learned it from a video too, but his version involved a lot of cussing and muttering. idk, maybe it's just me but the whole corner tucking thing still looks like magic when I see someone do it right. @dakota_patel98 definitely has the upper hand here, I'm just glad my friend gave up trying to show me.

Oh man, finally someone said it. @dakota_patel98 I'm with you on this one. I watched one YouTube video like five years ago and it clicked for me instantly. The trick is to tuck the corners into each other before you fold it flat. Once you get that motion down it takes maybe 10 seconds longer than a flat sheet. I honestly don't get why people make such a big deal out of it. It's one of those things that seems hard until you actually try the right way.
