Serious question, did a guy at my register really try to return a half eaten rotisserie chicken?
Worked the returns desk at a grocery store in Columbus for two years and one guy walked up with a rotisserie chicken that was like 80 percent gone, bones and all, sitting in the plastic container. He said it tasted off and he wanted his $7.99 back, and when I asked where the rest of it went he just stared at me and said he had to be sure. I told him I couldn't take back food that was mostly eaten and he asked for my manager, then sat in the little chair by the door for 45 minutes waiting. Has anyone else had a customer pull the "I had to test it" move on a return?
