That guy who wanted me to prune his oak tree in July

Had a customer call me out to his place last week insisting I trim his oak tree because 'the leaves look heavy.' I told him July is the worst time for oaks here in Texas and he got mad, then his neighbor came over and backed me up. Any of you guys ever have a customer argue with you about your own trade?

Funny you mention YouTube videos. I saw some guy from Oregon last week telling everyone to prune oaks in the middle of summer because 'it stimulates growth.' Forgot to mention he's got coastal weather with fog and 60 degree summers. Down here in Texas that's just asking for oak wilt. Your customer probably watched the same thing. That neighbor was a real one for backing you up.
