The customer who swore my iced tea was poisoned, then ordered 3 more
A lady at my diner in Tulsa had me taste her tea because she was sure someone put bleach in it, turns out it was just the lemon slice touching her lip gloss. She apologized, then asked for three more glasses to go, has anyone else had a customer go from accusing you to tipping you $20 in five minutes?

That story sounds good, but honestly it makes me a little suspicious. Getting blamed for putting poison in someone's drink is a serious accusation, not something a normal person tosses around lightly. Any customer that jumps to that conclusion probably has bigger issues going on than just lip gloss and lemon. The fact she then ordered three more glasses seems less like a happy switch and more like she was trying to cover up her own embarrassment or maybe she liked the attention. Tipping $20 after that feels like a guilt payment, not a genuine thank you. I would have kept an eye on her the rest of the time she was in the diner, because people who make up stuff like that once tend to do it again.
