The regular who ordered the same sandwich for 6 years then flipped out over a 50 cent price increase

I used to work at a deli in Jersey City and this guy Frank came in every Tuesday for a turkey club on rye with extra pickles. For 6 years he never even looked at the menu, just barked his order and paid. Then one day the price went up 50 cents and he LOST it, started yelling about how we were robbing him and he'd never come back. I guess inflation finally hit him in the pickle jar. Anybody else have a regular who snapped over something tiny after years of smooth sailing?

Used to think people who snapped over tiny price jumps were just cheap, but Frank's 6 year loyalty getting dinged by 50 cents changed my mind on that. Your mileage may vary but I get how something small can feel like a betrayal when you've been so consistent.
