Wasted $150 on a fancy espresso machine because I didn't check the drip tray size first
Bought this sleek Breville off Craigslist last month. Looked great, guy said it worked fine. Got it home and the drip tray barely holds two cups worth of water before it overflows. Now I'm stuck using a measuring cup under the spout like some kind of savage. Has anyone else bought something that looked perfect but had some stupid design flaw that ruined it?

The drip tray on my old DeLonghi was pretty small too, always had to empty it mid-morning. I ended up buying a bigger third-party tray online for about twenty bucks. It sat a little higher under the group head but never overflowed again. Sometimes a simple fix like that saves the whole machine from ending up in the trash.

Actually that third-party tray sounds like it sat too HIGH, not low, since you said it was under the group head.
