Brick and mortar vs. pop-up spaces for Detroit retail, which one actually wins?
I spent last year running a pop-up in Eastern Market and it brought in foot traffic, but the rent was nearly the same as a small brick and mortar in Hamtramck. Now I'm wondering if the flexibility is really worth it when you can't build a loyal customer base. Has anyone else compared the two for their Detroit spot, what made you pick one over the other?
