Noticed a pattern at the Greektown loft open house last Saturday

Honestly, I was checking out a mixed-use building near Monroe Street and a guy in a cheap suit kept telling people the parking situation was "about to get way better." He didn't say how or when, just kept smiling. Later I saw him take a call outside and he said "yeah just sell the pipe dream." It stuck with me because half the units were already empty. Has anyone else caught agents overselling infrastructure promises to close deals?

Exactly had a landlord tell me the new L stop was "definitely happening" near a place I was looking at in Pilsen. Turned out it was just a proposal that got killed in a city council meeting six months later.

Heard a similar story at an open house last week @rowanharris. Landlords love overselling.

Always worth asking for specifics in writing (even a rough timeline helps).
