Picked a $9,200 parking lot patch in Corktown over a full repave and it's holding up great
The lot behind my building on Michigan Ave had a bad section near the alley and I went with a mill and overlay on just that 4,000 sq ft instead of the $40k tear out the first contractor pushed, and 8 months later there's zero cracking even after that rough freeze in January, so now I'm wondering if anyone else here has gone the patch route and regretted it or stuck with it?

What happens when that patched section settles and overlaps the older asphalt?
