Talked to a guy leasing storefront on Michigan Ave last week
He told me he's paying $18 a square foot for a spot that was $35 back in 2019. Said the landlord threw in 3 months free just to get someone in there. Has anyone else seen rents drop that much in your part of town?

Was the spot on the main drag or a side street off Michigan?

The one off Michigan was tucked behind that old bakery, you had to know it was there. Real bummer about the whole block closing down.
