Bali coworking spaces are way overhyped right now

Spent last month working from Ubud and tried 3 different coworking spots that all had spotty wifi around 3pm when the tourists flood in. Paid $35 for a day pass at one place and the connection dropped 4 times during a client call. Has anyone else found a reliable spot in Bali that actually works for remote work?

lmao $35 for a day pass and you got dropped calls? thats a rip off. i went to one spot in canggu that had a "dedicated" internet line but it was basically a router in a closet running on hopes and prayers. the wifi in bali is just a suggestion at this point.

Yeah I had the same issue there. What finally worked for me was picking up a local SIM card from a Telkomsel booth at the airport. Their 4G was way more reliable than any wifi spot I tried. Took maybe 10 minutes to set up.

@the_nathan that router closet probably had better uptime than the cow farm powering your spot's generator.
