My coworking space in Chiang Mai got quieter after the rains stopped
I've been in Chiang Mai for about 4 months now, bouncing between two coworking spots near the Old City. Before the rainy season, the place was buzzing with people talking, taking calls, and the energy was kind of nice. Then the rains hit and it thinned out fast, folks left for Bali or Vietnam. Now that it's dry again, it's not the same crowd. The regulars I used to chat with are gone, replaced by quieter folks who mostly stare at their screens. I think the rainy season scared off the short-term nomads and only the long-haulers stayed. Has anyone else noticed a shift in their favorite spot when the seasons change, or is it just me? I'm wondering if I should find a new place or just stick it out here.
