My laptop died during a video call in a Chiang Mai cafe and I had to finish the meeting on my phone.

The power strip under the table was faulty and I lost everything right as I was sharing my screen. Anyone have a good backup battery they carry for these moments?

Yeah, that's the worst feeling. I've started carrying a big power bank that can charge my laptop, not just my phone. It's a bit heavy but saves the day when outlets let you down.

What kind do you use? I always thought they were too bulky but @jade_johnson has me rethinking that.

Totally agree with Jade. I bought a massive one after my phone died at the airport last year. It felt silly at first, like carrying a brick. But then I used it to keep my tablet going through a three-hour flight delay. Now that brick lives in my bag every single day.
